Pip Horton-Crundall purchased the Monbulk property in 2005 with a vision to develop a small acreage nursery and to utilise her 20 years of extensive experience in the horticulture industry. 

The purchase of the Fairy Dell Road property enabled Pip to govern the entire rose production process and become scrupulous on quality. From the Iowa and Kiwi rootstock to the selection of buds, everything is grown onsite.

During the development of the rose production a thriving hedge nursery was also established, now supplying retail nurseries, landscapers and property developers. Hedging and topiary varieties are in abundance with a supply of healthy plants all year round.

Pip’s dedication, passion and pride in her work means that only quality plants are produced at Herons Rest Roses.
