Tamora roses were first bred in 1983 in the United Kingdom by David Austin.
This rose was created by crossing the Chaucer rose with the rose Conrad Ferdinand Meyer. The result is a very pretty apricot colored rose with a strong fragrance. The rose Tamora will produce blooms that average about 3.5 inches across.
The rose Tamora will grow up to about 4 feet tall at full maturity with that is a little over half its height. The blooms on this rose will be very full, like most of David’s roses, having upwards of about 40 petals or more. This rose is a great choice for the centrepiece of a larger flower bed, or it is equally at home in a smaller corner garden. You can also grow this rose in a container and bring its wonderful colour and fragrance onto your porch or patio.
